| I actually started photography several years back with a film SLR... digital entry level SLRs did not exist yet... I began with just the book that came with the camera when I bought it: The Essentials of Photograhpy: With your EOS Camera. Learned a lot including exposure, time and aperture settings, multiple exposures, etc. I don't know if the book can be bought separtely from the camera or if it is still sold. Otherwise, any beginner's COLORED book to digital photography should be a good start. With your camera, all you need to know anyway are the very basics: exposure, the relationship of aperture and exposure time, film settings (ISO), and image composition (rule of thirds, etc.). |
